Brett Favre Retires

Yes, it's that time of year again, the annual Brett Favre retirement. But this time, he means it.

What is so different this time around? To begin with, his last year as quarterback of the Jets was a disappointment, to say the least. He did suffer an injury to his throwing arm, and is avoiding surgery. He is 39, which even lessens the chance of full recovery.

The Jets are now seeking a new QB, and the pool is rather sparse. But here is what will happen.

Come May, Brett will be back to help out the Jets as a back up QB. Just a transitional guy until the new young gun, whoever he may be, steps in. Would I put money on this scenario? No, but don't be surprised if it happens.

Go Yankees

Your exactly right, he will be back again. Now the question is which soap opera will espn decide to drown us with. Farmer Favre "retiring" or the A-Roid story

Ok, I'll try this comment again...
Favre lives here as well as Steve McNair and a couple of others. They are golfing buddies. Believe me, he's not coming back. Not to play that is.

Good riddance. I am tired of hearing about this subject.
